macOS Catalina Security Update 2022-003

Today I noticed this security update was released. This was dropped on March 14th by Apple.

I applied the update and am now running version 10.15.7 (19H1824). Standard security update, about 15 minutes and 2 reboots. Running Open Core 0.7.9 with early March 2022 kext files.

Updated from 19H1715 with OC 0.6.1.

About 10 minutes, everything smooth.

this update breaks mounting disks with paragon ntfs. More on it here.

I’m not really surprised, these security patches seem to be restricting and breaking more things than they fix.
