Dear All,

I am a happy Catalina user with a Clover boot-loader.
Recently started reading about OC and decide to try BigSur.
The opencore configuration has been prepared with the excellent guide by Dortania's oopencore install guide.

Opencore version is 0.7.2

So basically I manage to get the boot menu, hitting option 2 (Install macOS),where 10 seconds later I am stucked at:

Attempting System Restart.. MACH Reboot

I have followed the guide exactly as advised, the config.plist sanity check has been passed and basically to my knowledge everything should be fine.
Spent 3 days trying different things with no progress to report so hope somebody can give me a hand in this.
Here is a picture of the structure of the EFI folder.

I would be very grateful for any comments and help.
Complete EFI folder and config.plist attached.

As no help been provided, just to answer myself and for the users in the future with similar problems:
The message was caused due to wrong kext configuration.
IntelMausiEthernet.kext
RealtekRTL8111.kext
AtherosE2200Etrhernet.kext

After deleting RealtekRTL8111.kext the problem has been solved.

you would normally only need 1 network kext

and a DSDT.aml shouldn't be used with OpenCore

Thanks @Feartech

The motherboard has 2 network ports, hence the two network kexts. I just overlook the 3rd one which was the problem.

According the DSDT.aml I found out it should not be used the hard way :)
Thanks again for your input. I found BS working better and faster compared to Catalina.
