Re-check your OC version. kexts, etc.
Also, find out if iMacPro1,1 is appropriate for your environment.
Go View attachment 580728(System settings) > General > Software update.

As a matter of fact, right now I'm offered to go one step up ( I'll keep Ventura on this PC )

I know, you succeeded but I had to download the full Ventura 13.6.6 Package. Not a big deal and it worked, now on 13.6.6 but strange indeed!

Finally got around to updating my laptop hack from Ventura 13.6.3 to 13.6.6

Like some others are reporting, I also could not get the update to work using the small incremental update file as it kept failing during the preparation phase, after a few retries the system automatcaly downloaded the full installer which worked just fine.

This system will be staying on Ventura due to Sonoma breaking Broadcom WiFi and I don't want to use OCLP or run the system with SIP partaily disabled.

Booting via OpenCore 0.9.9 + latest 3rd party kexts

Smooth update from 13.6.4 without any problems.

Updating from a previous version of Ventura worked without issues, with the smaller updater package.

Smooth update from 13.6.5 without any problems.+ and with incremental updater.

Quick update to 13.6.6 from a fresh install of 13.6.5. The 5700U is much happier with NootedRed in Ventura than Sonoma, not seeing the visual 'stickiness' in System Settings.
