macOS 11.0 Big Sur is now available from the Mac App Store. Anyone who has purchased Mac OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard, OS X 10.7 Lion, OS X 10.8 Mountain Lion, or has OS X 10.9 Mavericks, OS X 10.10 Yosemite, OS X 10.11 El Capitan, macOS 10.12 Sierra, macOS 10.13 High Sierra, macOS 10.14 Mojave, or macOS 10.15 Catalina installed will be able to upgrade for no cost.

What we know about 11.0.1 so far...

Downloaded the 12 GB installer from the App Store. Installing now.

I think it is 11.0.1 and not 11.0. Is it 20B28 or 20B29 ?

Yes- made a note in the OP that release version is 11.0.1. Not sure yet- still downloading. The latest RC was 20B28 I thought.
