Hi folks.. Weird issue with a newly built hack. Any time I have a usb 3 powered hub plugged into any usb 3 port upon shutting down the machine, it shuts off then immediately turns back on. If I unplug the hub, it shuts down properly. I have tried 3 different usb hubs. Obviously power down the usb line seems to be causing this. Did I miss a bios setting or something else I can try to stop this from happening?

BTW: this is occurring on the i6700 machine listed in my sig

thanks

Enable Clover ACPI Fixes "FixShutdown" and "Halt Enabler".

Other users also reported success with:
  • In Gigabyte Bios enable "ErP" fixes the problem
  • After Disabling "Platform Power Management" within Bios shutdown works again

Sorry folks.. Should have searched before I posted this. I just found several threads on the issue. I will pursue those other possible fixes.

thanks
