I am not too familiar with mac systems.
Is HDMI audio support possible for an older macbook with the HDMI audio solution?
I looked though different guides but I am not sure if this is possible with my system.

The techniques and tools in this forum should never be used on genuine Macs. That said, there is no way I know of to get HDMI audio in a MacBook that shipped without it.
