Hello everyone.

I updated my Mac OSx Lion to the new Lion 10.7.2 Combo Update. Everything went fine with the installation, but after restarting my computer, the speakers played an annoying fussy sound. I logged in and also noticed that both the volume and bluetooth icons on menu bar went gray and therefore not working...

I read that the new update "installs" the new audio kext file over to the previous one.

I also followed the process of tweaking the problem via MultiBeast, but now... as soon as it loads the Macintosh OSx... the "screen of death appears"...

My hardware specifications are the following...

Mac Osx Lion 10.7.2 / Windows 7 Ultimate
OCZ Vertex 3 (Mac Osx Lion)
OCZ Agility 3 (Windows 7 Ultimate)
Asus P8P67 Pro B3 (s1155)
INTEL CORE i7 2600K 3.40GHz (s1155)
GIGABYTE ATI Radeon HD 6850 1GB (DDR5 256 BIT)

Any suggestions or help guide, specified for this particular hardware customization?

Thanks in advance, lads :)

Try to install the applehda rollback for the sound.

At first, I did it and no result. But then I noticed that I have chosen the "Mac Pro" option, instead of "iMac"...

Re-installed the Bootloader and everything according to the TonyMac Topics and went fine.

Thanks for the advice friend...
