MAC OSX has crashed and is gone, I have a clone image but..

My MAC OSX has crashed and is gone. I have a image but I cannot get into OSX at all. I am running on Windows 7 right now. I have an clone image of my mac from Carbon Copy (thankfully) and I want to copy the clone back to the mac hard drive, but I am using Windows. I have tried using Mac Drive on Windows 7 but it stops copying the files when it gets to the system folder. I don't know why. I tried running it with Administrator rights still nothing. Is there any way to do this? I would try with OSX but I cannot get in at all. Completely crashed. Please if someone can help me quickly, I have work that needs to be given in and its on my Mac hard drive. Any help would help!!

Surely it didn't just vanish... have you tried booting with iBoot? Through iBoot you should be able to boot in to it, and if not than you should at least be able to boot in to your backup drive... CCC usually creates a bootable drive. From your backup drive it will be much easier to restore your system. good luck!
