I'll try deleting that Apple Kext.

I'd like to edit the info file inside the VoodooHDA.kext. I want to change one of the default slider settings. I know how to do that part, but.....how do I get the edited kext file back in the right place (extensions folder) and get permissions repaired, etc.
Do I drop the edited Kext file into KExt Utility's icon? That would be considered adding it, I suppose.

Just about finished my G5 hackingtosh project.
two 1gb are fixed above the dvd drive. just in case you are woundering.

Switch for Dvd open close for windows 7 on back pannel
All ports working
pcie sata3 also installed.

radiator twin installed on floor of case..
donor casr was a coolermaster stacker..
note I used the origonal motherboard pins to mount the motherboard. Not a donor tray.
quite easy today with high power metal glues..

so when I upgrade I can just change my mobo.

just need to polish it up! next job update to 10.7.3....current 10.7.2
