Re: Mac OS X 10.6.7 Update - The Official Laptop Thread

My Dell Mini 10v, using Meklort's venerable NetBookInstaller, works fine after running Software Update and installing 10.6.7 - although it did take a LOOOONG time to come back up... had be patient with it.

Installed the non-SB update. Everything works as it did before (audio is still broke, no matter what I try, and WiFi is naturally dead). I wonder how much performance that the SB update will actually bring?

My Atheros AR5BXB61 wireless card stopped working after the update. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

So, will using the 10.6.7 update from http://support.apple.com/kb/DL1368 allow my Latitude E4310 laptop with i5 processor with integrated HD video to finally use QE/CI?

:banghead: Apple Releases Mac OS X 10.6.7... http://iClarified.com/14373 size is about 300+ MB why for me it's 502.2 mb ? http://twitpic.com/4bx8yf Any idea?

I've done about 5 different machines now, physical and virtual. It's been ~300MB on some, and ~500MB on others. I didn't spot any pattern to it...

I've also just upgraded the Toshiba laptop that's in my sig. 10.6.7 broke SleepEnabler.kext, requiring me to boot into single user safe mode and delete it. I haven't managed to get it working. Everything else seemed to survive intact though.

EDIT: "pmVersion=21" fixes SleepEnabler until a new version is released that supports 10.6.7 properly.
