Today Apple released 10.6.7.

Please post all of your feedback on 10.6.7 on desktop hardware in this thread.

Here is the thread for laptop users in the Laptop Forum, viewtopic.php?f=34&t=15700

Apple Knowledge Bulletin is located here: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4472 which has all the "official" information about the update. No mention of anything about new processors or chipsets.

BTW, don't be in a hurry to download. There have oops before with the OS downloads. Watch Macintouch.com for info.

Looks like a security update has been made available, too. Security Update 2010-001 (Snow Leopard). It's on Apple's download page, but has not hit the Software Update application.

What we know about 10.6.7 so far...
-10.7.0 Darwin kernel (No Sandy Bridge support)
-No Sandy Bridge Intel HD 2000/3000 Graphics support
-No ATI 6xxx support

Apple become crazy or what? So how new MacBook Pros will be updated? or they will have separate 10.6.7 SB? LOL!!!!!

Exactly.

For some strange reason my mouse and keyboard stopped working.. Why?? I had to boot using iBoot, USB was working, I mean I tested usb drive and external drive.. it mounted it without any problem

Yeah, but the 10.6.7 kernels from new macbook pros we already have and so far nothing?

My system is working fine with the system update. :)
