M4800 sleep doesn't respond on Mojave

I'm running Mojave on a Dell Precision M4800 and I got most of the stuff running besides a few issues (nVidia graphics, Wifi, Filevault).

When I try to put the computer to sleep by choosing the Apple menu then sleep nothing happens, also when I close the lid the laptop doesn't go to sleep and when I open it it's awake on the same screen as if nothing happened.

Any suggestions to fix this issue are appreciated, thank you
