Hi,
I am considering buying a Samsung 960 m.2 drive as my main OS drive. My motherboard (Gigabyte Z97X UD7 TH) does not have a m.2 slot, so I will have to use a PCIE adapter.

I am considering these two at the moment:
Samsung XP941
Asus HYPER m.2

Does anyone have any experience running either? I am running OS X 10.11.6

Thanks

No experience with either of these, but I have a Silverstone ECM20 in one of my systems. It seems to work fine.

I would say that as long as the drive installed on one of these cards is detected in the motherboard BIOS then it should work.

Yeah, getting the MB to see the drive will be the potentially tricky part! Should arrive in a few days, lets see how it goes. Thanks!
