Are you booting from Disk or USB ?

The prohibitory symbol usually relates to a problem with the USB controller or SATA Controller respectively.

SATA controller was set as IDE and need to be ASHI!!!
All working as should :)

Yes indeed, but as a newbie I only realised it could be the type of SATA controller when it was pointed out in a very specific way.

Glad we got it back up and running.
 
When the BIOS is reset everything returns to default settings (not even optimised defaults).
For example : The Serial ports will be enabled when they should be disabled.
A small thing like that can prevent the OS from loading.

IIRC With the Z77 DS3H the disks default to IDE when they should be set to SATA / AHCI.
You had my solution here for sure!
