I just remembered a question I've been meaning to post here...
I've seen several YouTube videos on Hackintosh builds, where the author has stated that it's better to only install 4gb RAM at first build. Then you go back and install the rest of the RAM, *after* the OS has been installed and the system has been tweaked with MultiBeast.
Is this the recommended procedure?
I've been reviewing the tutorials on the UniBeast/Lion/MultiBeast procedure, and don't recall seeing anything noted about recommended RAM limitations. So maybe this is no longer an issue? Or, maybe, it is still an issue and just not noted in the software installation threads.
Thanks.
