Hi everyone,

I have spent some time trying to look for the answers I need without a lot of luck. I currently have a really stable hackintosh, yet I seem to be wanting to make it smaller to keep the tower on my desk instead of underneath. I want to keep most of my current hardware, and just want to get a smaller board and case. I am looking for a compatible mini-itx board with the 1156 cpu socket because I want to reuse my i7 cpu. I was looking at this board, but am unsure what makes a mini-itx board compatible or not.(http://www.gigabyte.us/products/product-page.aspx?pid=3455#ov) Or if there are any other board that are better with the same socket type, that would be great. ANY help is greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Yes it will work.
There is even a DSDT in Resources tab.
Sound ok
Net ok

Thanks for your input. That will at least get me started. Does anyone know of a better board to use with the same socket type?

Edit: I should ask, is there a guide or chart that has compatible mini-itx boards? Then I can just look for the socket type I need.
