Hello,

I am not very experienced Hackintosh user - I have one desktop made out of proven components so there are no issues at all.
Now I try to install Mavericks on a Toshiba Satellite S855-CL1. I installed the system and I have made a DSTD with AIDA64. Now it needs to be patched and that's a point where I get lost.

Can anyone help please?

Thanks!

Please provide complete details in your profile.

System: manufacturer/model
CPU: detailed CPU model + motherboard chipset
Graphics: all graphics devices + laptop internal screen resolution

For example, typical Ivy laptop:
System: HP ProBook 4540s
CPU: i5-3320m/HM76
Graphics: HD4000, 1366x768

Use CPU-Z on Windows to find CPU (Core iX-xxx) and motherboard chipset (HMxx). For a laptop, these details are important and affect critical installation procedures.

Read post #2 carefully. The details requested must be in your profile.

Although I don´t understand why it must be in the profile (as I have another CustoMacPro running) but I have done it.

Profile is not complete. Please read carefully.

Refer to post #2. Need chipset, screen resolution, and please confirm if your laptop does not have Intel integrated graphics.

These specs are critical to configuring graphics correctly (which leads to a successful boot).

Hi, so I updated the profile. I originally thought there is a second Intel GPU, but nothing shows this, so it seems there is only the Radeon.

Thanks!

Make sure you know for sure... Use 'lspci -nn' in Linux Terminal to get a definitive answer.

If you don't have Intel HD4000, you'll need to focus on how to make Radeon work (I don't own any such laptops, so don't know the details).
