I intend to buy a new HP laptop soon. But there are a lot of models to choose from. My only requirement is user-replaceable full HD display. So maybe 15" is a good choice.

I found a lot of models with only HD graphics (I don't need descrete/switchable one). HD4000, HD4200, HD4400 and even HD4600. Do they all work without issues in Mavericks?

A few of the models I found have Intel Centrino wi-fi+BT. I know these don't work, but are they replaceable?

I liked quite a few, but they all seem to have Ralink wi-fi + BT. These are also not supported, but are they replaceable?

I'd like to replace them with Airport compatible card with a BT that works natively.

Any advice would be highly appreciated. Models I did like:

Pavillion 15-n001su (F4T46EA)
Pavillion 15-e003eu (E6N10EA)
250 G1 (H6Q77EA)
450 G0 (H6P81EA)
450 G1 (E9Y20EA)
850 G1 (H5G34EA)
4540s (H5H92EA)/(C4Y66EA)
8570p (C5A81EA)/(C5A82EA)/(B6P99EA)/(B6Q00EA)/(B6P98EA)

HP Elitebook 8570p is the best laptop among the lists in term of build quality, compatibility with OS X Mavericks.

Elitebook P is high-end business class laptop of HP, it's only under Elitebook W series.

Does anyone know if the display of the HP 450 G0 (H6P81EA) is replaceable with full HD one?
And if the wi-fi is also replaceable with Airport compatible one? (it has a Ralink 802.11b/g/n (1x1) and Bluetooth 4.0 combo)?

And about HP PAVILION 15-E003EU/E6N10EA:
Does anyone know if the display is replaceable with full HD one?
And what kind of wi-fi and BT does it have at stock? All the sites that I have checked including hp.com say: 802.11b/g/n, Bluetooth, and nothing else.

HP does not list a Full HD screen for the Probook 450 Go.
You'd better get a 4540s as a lot of people here have so you can easily get help.

HP Elitebook 8570p have Full HD option, and its wifi card can be replaced for a compatible one. It's the most expensive though. HP 4540s is a cheaper option.

HP 8x70p and 4x40s are tested on PBI, so they are fully compatible with Mavericks.

Any advice regarding the rest of the models in this list?
