Logitech HD C510 needs to be unplug/replug after shutdown

Hi Guys,

I have one annoying issue at the moment.

Everytime I reboot into chimera dual boot into my new lion build, I have to unplug/replug my Logitech C510 HD to have this webcam working.

Any ideas guys, really annoying.

Why do I have to replug USB for this webcam to work?

Yeah, dont install the logitech software suite on windows 7, just the driver.

Somehow now it worked out perfectly

it does seam to be a windows thing as each time i boot into lion it works fine but if i boot into windows (not software installed) then reboot into lion i have to unplug and plug it back in to work

any other ideas

Well I'll test further, report back if you find a solution.. I'll do some digging.

Have you removed the Logitech SW Suite already?

The same problem here, but my webcam was C910.
I think that's the problem between windows driver and Mac.
I use C510 on my MacMini and everything was perfect.

You can try to use ichat, photo booth, facetime and quicktime,
and find out which one can use the webcam.

The C310 was plug and play both on Windows 7 and OSX for me
