I tested my new setup(in the signature) today with Logics Space Designer(Stereo).

Soundcard: ECHO AUDIOFIRE 4
LATENCY: 128 buffer - 11.9 ms latency
LOW LATENCY MODE: ALL, 1ms

I was able to get 100 stereo tracks playing with space designer on each

There where no indication of disk usage(SSD), only 4 cores working at 85/90 %

I use SSD, and it is freaking fast.

I own a real macbook by the way

Post your test :)

By chance did you use EvanLogicMultiCoreBenchmark to run your test?I've attachen it just incase u dont have it........Bless

I top out at around 55-68 tracks.......
M-Audio FW410
256 buffer

I get 88 tracks in infinite loop with a [email protected] and 111 Tracks in infinite loop OC'd to 3.8Ghz with ''evans test''

Cool thanks I wil try that even dough I use Pro tools today

how should i run this benchmark tester, there are 2 files I cant open

Just to give you some bearing with the evans test on my Macbook core2duo i hit the wall at 15 tracks ;)

And here's a new evans test report:

Macbook Pro 15'
Core i5 2.53 Ghz 8Gb Ram
Logic 9.1 32bit
21 tracks infinite loop

I really like this way of testing our machines, it'd be great to create a database here with evans test result

on my i7 920 hackintosh i get 41 channels working at a buffer of 64 samples on my 003R. I tend to work at 64 samples since I hackintoshed this computer, but I guess with mixes over 40 tracks i might have to use a higher buffer size.
