Hello people,

first of all thanks to all the people that made this possible, I built my Hackintosh about a month ago and am/was really happy until two days ago.

Until then everything worked fine and I had absolutely no issues. What happens now, is that no matter what I do (Chrome, iTunes, Pages, etc.) about every three minutes the cursor becomes the loading circle and my system is laggy for about 5-10 seconds and then it works for the next 3-5 minutes again.
Does anyone know this issue and know what to do? Any help would be highly appreciated.
My system:
MoBo: Gigabyte GA Z170X UD5-TH
CPU: Intel i7 6700k
RAM: 32GB DDR 4 Crucial Ballistix Sport LT
GPU: MSI GeForce GTX980 Gaming 4
Storage: 1x 512GB SSD (Samsung 850 EVO) -> Mac OS X Boot & Software
1x 256GB SSD (Samsung 850 EVO) -> Windows Boot & Software
1x 2TB HDD -> Mac OS X Data
1x 1TB HDD -> Windows Data
OS: Mac OS X El Capitan 10.11.5 & Windows 10

I hope that helps. If you need more info, please let me know.

Best wishes

Thanks Kynyo, I will do that!

This is the protocol, anything specific? The only thing that popped up in my mind is that avguard.bin (apparently from Avira Antivir) is using a lot of CPU.

Try removing your antivirus... been running OSX for 10 years now, haven't installed that kind of crap software on my OSX. (That's why I left the Windows world.)

Also, your problem may signal a failing hard drive! Happened to my iMac, beachball always showing and everything is slow.

Thanks powerpcq5,
I wanted to try that now anyway and see if it's related to antivir.
I really hope it's nothing with the harddrives as they are brandnew. Bought them a month or two ago when building the Hackintosh. Also HWMonitor shows them as 100% so I think that's not it. Gonna try to uninstall Antivir.
