Little confused about Chimera

OK, So i built a Hack last year using an old Core2Duo and one of the required steps was to install Chimera. Reading posts about the GIGABYTE GA-Z77X-UP5 TH the posts have pics showing Multibeast but not selecting a bootloader. I also see some people saying they installed the standalone Chimera after Multibeast. I am confused on whether or not I will need to install it to be able to boot without a USB stick.

If you choose Easy beast or UserDSDT, Multibeast will automatically install bootloader for you.

The picture in that post shows that "User DSDT or DSDT-free installation" option is selected, so Chimera will be installed too without having to be selected.
