Lion Will Not Boot If I Choose Restart

Minor problem that has been bothering me lately. It seems that whenever I restart my computer, either from Windows 7 or OS X, my Lion drive will not boot. It just hangs on the white screen with the grey apple logo and never shows the spinning circle. The workaround is to shut off my computer and start again.

Try stopping at the Chimera screen and typing -v then watch the kexts loading, note any that either fail, take a long time to load or KP. You might also check in Console and see if it has logged anything interesting.

The EvOreboot kext from MultiBeast seems to have solved this
