Lion System Freezes: Apparent hang in main graphics engine

Just saw the instructions in the other thread so I was going to dl the cuda drivers but it looked like they were meant for Nvidea users. Would they even help me with the HD3000 only setup?

Lots of discussions on the HD3000 at discussions.apple.com. Real Macbooks also have this problem.
Seems not even completely fixed in 10.8.2
