Hello, I am going to buy a new computer with AMD Radeon HD 6570 and install Windows 7 and Mac OS X 10.7 Lion. But I am wondering whether Lion is supporting 6570 or not. If not, is there any way to get it work?

No, and no.
From HD6000 Series only 6670, 6850, 6870 works. Or you can choose HD5770.
HD6700 Series not supported.

Is that the only choice for me is 6670, 6850 and 6870 but not 6570?

I am completely clueless and have been fumbling through getting my 6570 to work. Why is it that some cards work and others do not?

No support by Apple.

Been doing alot more research. I am limited since i need a low profile card. Any suggestions? i have my 6570 working completely except for dual screen support. When i try to detect monitors both become disabled :(

Any additional ideas (even experimental) i am willing to try since i havent fully customized my system. I can re install as many times if needed!

Thanks

That is not true. I am on a 6450 and it works right OOB. Did nothing other than select appropriate setting in Multibeast.

That is the card below and is perfect/silent for my Antec ISK 300 (slim/low profile). It comes with both standard brackets and low profile.

I too can confirm that the 6450 HD and the 6570 HD both work out of the box. For dual screen support instead of using a DVI splitter. get an HDMI to DVI adapter and plug the 2nd display into the HDMI port.

Works like a charm!!!

Is the HDMI audio working with the 6450 in lion? I'm about to order one but just want to make sure it's my most compatible choice. Thanks

What did you do to get the 6570 to work?
