Lion-ready laptop for less than 1000 bucks?

Hey guys,

do you have any recommendations for a new laptop? I currently have a Dell XPS 15 (L501X), but I can`t get OSX to run properly because of the f***ing Intel Optimus sh*t in there (Integrated Graphics + nVidia GT420m).

That`s why I`d like to sell that one and get a new one that doesn`t sport those Integrated Graphics It should be Lion-ready, if that`s a spec that we know anything about...

I first thought of a Dell XPS 15 with i7 processor that does not have Intel Graphics, but since Apple seems to switch to AMD graphics I might choose another one instead

did you managed to get your L501X working with OsX Lion ?

If so, i'd be glad to read some further explanations of the install process...

Here are the steps I've done. I have a GT 420M and my problem is that I can't even launch OsX Lion (whatever the flag I use).

I'm looking for a DSDT.aml that would fit my system, and maybe some extra .kext if required.
