I keep getting "can't find mach_kernel" when booting from Apple Raid 0 helper partition. I followed the method for snow leopard, using Hackinstaller to setup boot loader on raid partition, but seems there is some system file missing there. Has anyone succeed?

Did you set it up on all of your raid drives?

i got the same problem

about can't load kernel

i use 3 disk

on boot disk with bootable lion(non raid)

and 2 disks combined to one riad disk

i setup the raid in lion and clone a bootable lion on it

but in boot loader menu, when selection the raid disk.. i get the error about can't find kernel

what can ik do?

it worked fine with snow leopard

I don't even remember how I got my RAID0 working... but my disk utility stuff has always worked like a charm when I verify and repair and what not.

After installing lion I ran into the same problem "can't find the mach kernel" but then I tried to boot into my backup partition on a regular drive and It then booted into my raid0.... hmmm. When I figure this out I will let you know.
