Lion (10.7.3) is not booting after changing my system definition to Mac Pro 5.1 from 3.1. Will try booting using rBoot and report back.

Update 1: rBoot booted Lion, let's try re-installing MultiBeast.

Update 2: Re-installing MultiBeast witn 3.1 solves the problem. :)
Thanks Tony for rBoot and MultiBeast.

Boot with -v and check if it is the AppleTYMCE.kext

You should be able to boot if you delete the Kext in single-user mode.

Is there any way to optimize one's system definition? I'm running Mac Pro 3,1 right now with no problem, but would any other definition benefit me in any way?

I'm using GA-UD4XP UD4. System crash when i'm change from MacPro3,1 to MacPro5,1.
