That is the expected result. HD3000 HDMI audio interferes with full 888 on board audio. Audio_ID: 388 solves that problem. If you disable HD3000 HDMI audio, Audio_ID: 888 will provide full 888 on board audio with or with Nvidia/AMD HDMI audio.Khan said:However no sound anywhere using:
1. for full 888 on board and discrete graphics: Audio ID: 888, layout-id:378
dsdt/HDEF/layout-id 0x78 0x03 0x00 0x00

What display is connected? What port on the motherboard is the display connected to? What did you use to get audio working? What are you using for AppleHDA.kext?caracortada7883 said:here is
For HD3000 HDMI audio, the Audio ID is 389. The layout-id is the same as the Audio ID, meaning the layout-id is also 389. Converting layout-id 389 decimal to hex results in layout-id 185 hex.caracortada7883 said:Im using hdmi from the mobo to a lcd and i edit the dsdt and use the edited applehda for 889
