there is no hd-audio option in the bios
the only thing I see in the bios that's audio related is "azalia codec" with the options "auto" or "disabled". The default is "auto".

are the details i know so far.
starting drom "Evaluate HDMI Audio dsdt edit file with Key Information/IOReg" i dont know what to do ...

You had to find 3 items in IOReg and you found:
Graphics name and address: pci-bridge@3
Audio Codec: 0x10ec0889

MaciSAL/Patch/Award-BIOS-AMD-Nvidia-5_Series-A1
It says: If IOReg/P0P3@3,NPE7@3,pci-bridge@3, etc. edit 0x00010000 to 0x00030000 (2x below)

MaciSAL/Patch/Award-BIOS-AMD-Nvidia-5_Series-A1
Find (Q): 0x00010000
Replace: 0x00030000 (All)
Apply, etc.

Hey Kris i have the same mobo running 10.8.4 i, im using f12 bios dtsd, if my hdmi audio dosnt works what i would have to edit.

I have checked the link, i think i have all the requerments but, is it an automatic patch?
Also i had issues with alc codec after multibeast install i reboted and i loosed usb ports when i had 10.8.2.
i want to have all my onboard audio running and hdmi audio.
is this method safe?

alc 889 gave me issues in the past killink my usb ports after reboot.
so how safe is this.
and also is it an aoutomatic patch? how thoes this works, i think i have all the requirements from the link.

AppleHDA audio and usb issues are not related. There is an issue on some systems with the audio enabler and usb; easily solved with HDMI audio dsdt edits. The guide and the pdf address your concerns. Post further questions in the thread linked above.

I need help.
I running Yosemite and Clover 3128 and I have Z77-DS3H board and (Asus) GT640.

The onboard sound RTL877 works clover (Audio ID 1) , thx for your audio_cloverALC-100.sh

I need to add Graphics and HDMI for dsdt.aml to turn HDMI sound on.
