yeah, I've disabled EFI...still ain't working..tnx..

What was the error/difference in BIOS?

I'm not sure about the bios change, but when I reboot the PC, I get a kernel panic. please I need help.

When exactly do you get the KP?
After installation and restart or after installation, restart and then the first boot?
Did Lion install successfully?
The first time boot need to be from the USB drive, then select your Lion HDD and then boot, after that the steps are pretty clear with ProBook installer and all.

I got the error after installing the hp probook installer and rebooting.

Did you install the DSDT and the right files your OS and Bios versions?
So you install OSX, reboot, boot from the flash, choose HDD and boot into Lion.
Then install ProBook installer with DSDT, Chimera, 10.7.3 files and reboot?
Then you get the KP?
