I own an Apple Macbook Pro shipped with Lion 10.7.2.
I've run Carbon Copy Cloner on the Mac and I've made a bit copy of the internal apple disk with Lion to an external Sata disk in an USB 2 case.
After that I attached the USB disk to a Asus P8P67 board with a working 10.6.8 hackintosh and It boots fine choosing from Chimera the usb disk. After that I've run MultiBeast for Lion, installing easybeast options. The disk boots fine when is connected from USB, but if I take the disk out of USB case and attach it to a sata port directly, there is no way to boot. I get "still waiting for root device".
Any suggestion ?

Try switching from IDE to AHCI within your BIOS integrated peripherals settings

Thank you, but SATA Intel controller is already in AHCI mode. It's strange that if I attach both disk (10.6.8 and 10.7.2) toghether, when booting SL os, the SATA seems locked and Lion sata disk is inaccessible. It works only in USB case.
Now I'm trying with a new disk, probably the Lion disk has some hardware trouble. :silent:
