What, did you try -v ? Does it hang (unresponsive CapsLock, keys) or just a black screen?

MBP 8,1 definition can be installed through MultiBeast. Also I'm not sure if the 10A432 has a kernel that will boot Sandy Bridge CPUs.
You could try moving the AppleIntelHD kexts from single user mode:
mkdir /moved
cd /System/Library/Extensions
mv AppleIntelSNB* /moved/
mv AppleIntelHD* /moved/
reboot

I was able to update to 10.6.6 but i can boot only with iBootlegacy CD, with others (chameleon, chimera) black screen
when updated from 10.6.6 to 10.6.8 with PCIRootUID=1 (intel hd3000) screen freezes when dsmos has arrived
PCIRootUID=0 (nvidia) obviously black screen

I have the same problem with my Asus A53sv xi7. It recognise my GT540m as 440m?
Not working USB3, Wifi and webcam.

-Elan touchpad. Works as mice input. No gestures.

Hello to everyone!

I know this is an old topic but I have some problems with Lion into my Asus K53SJ.
I got working everything, my only trouble is the Intel HD3000 .
This is my situation :
with the AppleIntelSNBGraphicsFB Kext Lion stops with this error :
Transcript Offline: Buffer pool allocate [18100] failed
without this Kext Lion start with 1024x768 monitor resolution and i cannot change it, and also it recognizes only 64/128 MB.

I tried to use the Kext in this topic but nothing, always the same problem.
Can anyone help me?

Intel Core i5 2410M
Intel HD3000 - device id 0116 128 MB
Nvidia GeForce 520 M (Optimus Tecnology) - I know there is no way to get it works, I do not care for the moment...
MainBoard HM65
4 GB RAM DDR3

And bootloader Chimera 1.6
