Whenever I try to use Flash videos, the plugin will crash and this is the error message being displayed in dmesg output -

NVDA: Unable to make all textures resident prior to start of command buffer processing!
NVDA: Calling glrKillClient for task 0xffffff80476a2a98
The graphics driver has detected a corruption in its command stream.

This happens on all 3 browsers - Chrome, Firefox and Safari. Reinstalled Flash and still same issue.

System -
Gigabyte Z68P-DS3 F7 (with F7 dsdt)
eVga nVidia 8800GTS (320MB)
Crucial M4 SSD
32GB RAM
Using default MacPro3,1 profile. Tested iMac12,1, iMac12,2 neither works.

Any suggestion on what could be causing this issue?

Did Flash ever work on this build or has this been an issue since installation?

If it worked at one time, did you update Chrome or any other program prior to the failure?

What graphics drivers if any did you install?

Is this the only issue on your computer?

No, it never actually worked on this machine for videos. The non overlay video stuff works (games, ads, etc..)

I did find a workaround for Chrome and that is to enable full page Composite and Canvas acceleration in (about:flags). Still this is an odd behavior and I do see lots of real Mac users complaining about GL being broken once upgrading to Lion if they had nVidia chipset video cards.

I'm using the out of box Lion drivers. I read people say use Tony's bundled drivers, but I can't seem to find Tony's bundle. The download page just links to the real nVidia drivers which says I already have drivers for the video card I have.
