LID sleep/wake on Lenovo Z510

On my Lenovo z510 laptop to sleep / wake from the LID, I applied the Poll for LID changes + Remove _PRW from LID patches.
This works with a simple sleep (mode 0), but with hibernation (mode 25), if I send it to sleep by closing the lid, then after waking up the laptop immediately goes to sleep again.
Apparently this is because the laptop believes that the LID is closed. Can this be fixed?
