I've referenced other post like https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/acer-swift-3-2018-catalina-with-opencore-guide.289366/, and I was able to boot to the recovery disk screen. However it wouldn't work if a mouse isn't connected as the trackpad doesn't work, and it seems like voodoops2 couldn't really support it.
Processor: Intel Core i5-8250U
Graphics adapter: Intel UHD Graphics 620 + NVIDIA Geforce MX130 (Disabled prior to installation)
Memory: 8GB
Display: 14 inch
Storage: WD NVMe SSD 512GB
Wifi: Intel AC3165
The installation screen is also very very slow which indicates missing graphics accelration, need to find workaround as well. I was also looking to try the nvidia web driver iff I can even install it successfully.
I had almost no idea about DSDT patching as it is seemingly very dangerous.
