Hallo,

I have been using my Thinkpad Yoga 12 with the Lenovo Onelink Dock for quite a while now without any problems so far.

Now I wanted to add a second external monitor to my setup. Therefore I bought the Pro Dock and connected both displays. I checked the setup under windows and had 3 different monitors --> 1.) Notebook 2.) external 22" FULLHD monitor 3.) external 25"" FULLHD monitor.

Under Mac I only get my notebook not one external even if I disconnect the one. I do not need the monitor display but both external.

Any suggestions :headbang:

Thank you so much for the reply. I updated my profile. But I checked the second link again and there is nothing that can help me out. My Notebook is running proper and one external notebook via the NORMAL dockingstation or HDMI OUT is no problem. Though with the PRO dockingstation I can not even get one external monitor running :problem:

You will need to be much more clear about what you're doing. What you write above is not clear... at first you imply a single monitor does work but adding a second does not, but then later you seem to imply that only the laptop display is working.

Also, read FAQ, "Problem Reporting".

I hope that I can make it less confusing... I am talking about two setups with different dockingstations (of course always the same notebook):

SETUP 1: Notebook + One Link dockingstation (1x HDMI out): internal screen + one external screen

--> all working like a charm

SETUP 2: Notebook + One Link PRO dockingstation (1x DVI out, 1x Displayport Out): internalscreen + 2 external screens (both connected via to HDMI-Adapter)
--> only internal screen is working none of the external.

The attached debug file of my notebook was created on setup 2. The system is working without any issues under windows10.

THANKS!

You should consider starting over and following the guide.
For example, your config.plist lacks basic rename patches...
Read here:

Keep in mind ig-platform-id 0x16260006 lacks the 0306 external connector (it has 0105 and 0204, but requires framebuffer patches to enable 0306, or to swap 0105/0204 for 0306)

Note also that your ioreg shows an external display on the 0105 connector.

Thank your for your reply! I changed my current config.plist to the config_HD5300_5500_6000.plist from https://github.com/RehabMan/OS-X-Clover-Laptop-Config

Keep in mind ig-platform-id 0x16260006 lacks the 0306 external connector (it has 0105 and 0204, but requires framebuffer patches to enable 0306, or to swap 0105/0204 for 0306)

The "new config" uses the same ig-platform-id as before but I saw the new entry where I have to put the framebuffer patches config.plist/KernelAndKextPatches/KextsToPatch at least I think

Note also that your ioreg shows an external display on the 0105 connector.
Another thing I found out is that it is possible that my notebook detects a port but it is not working because it is a DP or DVI out and not a HDMI?

Find: <00002002 00005001>
Replace: <00003001 00009000>

But here I really stuck since 2 nights. It is like I have to guess the numbers for the lottery  maybe I am even on the wrong track

Certainly you should add the 0306 port (easiest to swap 0204 for 0306) and see how it goes.
You'll need to do some basic reading up on framebuffer connector patching.
