Hi and thank you for all the great information on this site.

I just bought a new Lenovo laptop with the idea of installing MacOs alongside Win10 and Ubuntu. This is my first attempt at a hackintosh and I mainly want to try to have an installation that will let me run FCPX for video editing. I have not succeeded yet but I am learning along the way. This seemed like a good choice based on what I read here before buying it but it seems my cpu is a newer version than I can find good instructions for here. So I would be very greatful if someone could have a look at my hardware and give me a thimbs up or down about proceeding with my attempt. Thanks a bunch!

Your CPU (an Intel kaby lake) is not supported yet in os x because apple istself only uses the 6th generation (skylake) of intels cpu's in the new macbook pro. I was not able to find a good way to make it compatible, neither. But if you wait a bit, it may be, that apple introduces kaby lake to the next generation of macbooks ;)
Furthermore you'll get problems with your geforce graphic card.

That is what I was beginning to suspect. Thank you :)
