Hi all !
i've follow the guide to install yosemite with unibeast on external hdd.

When i try i get a reboot loop before installation start so, i patch the kernel into the usb :

Code:
perl -pi -e 's|\xe2\x00\x00\x00\x02\x00\x00\x00|\x00\x00\x00\x00\x02\x00\x00\x00|g' kernelperl -pi -e 's|\xe2\x00\x00\x00\x4c\x00\x00\x00|\x00\x00\x00\x00\x4c\x00\x00\x00|g' kernel
perl -pi -e 's|\xe2\x00\x00\x00\x90\x01\x00\x00|\x00\x00\x00\x00\x90\x01\x00\x00|g' kernel
as suggested here : http://www.tonymacx86.com/mavericks...-locked-msrs-hp-envy-15-j063cl-i7-4700mq.html

So i finally the installation work fine till the first reboot.
i've select my hdd , try to boot and get again the reboot like the previous one but this time is on the HDD :/

What can i do ?
Sorry i'm new with unibeast and phisical installation.

Thanks

PS: i try to follow the Clover guide but i don't have the 10.10 folder under knexts so i try without replace the file and the "clover app" restart when i press "EFI BOOT"

Read carefully at the link in post #1.

Thanks for the quick reply !

Sorry but my english is not really good ! Can you tell me where exactly ?

Thanks again

ok so i read and translate and fix for 10.10 the exact procedure is :

"After you install OS X to your HDD, you will have vanilla mach_kernel on the HDD, leading to the same instant reboot problem. So, you must re-enter the OS X installer, and go into Terminal (using Utilities -> Terminal) and replace the mach_kernel with the patched version:
"

cd /Volumes/{YourUsbName}/System/Library/Kernels
cp kernel /
Volumes/{YourHddName}/System/Library/Kernels/kernel
md5 /Volumes/{YourHddName}/System/Library/Kernels/kernel

and if u lucky you'll see this :

10.10 kernel
vanilla: 9f1768fddec369e545d938f0f4f76350
xcpm patched: eb21ca4bd7aba97d5e7b080a481fc173

here a picture valid for my settings (unibeast is the USB and yosemite the external HDD)

yes ! I was skyp that step because talm about the old "match_kernel" and was into an old "update" so i've think "this is not for the 10.10"

i tried and wrote the exact procedure in the last post for help someone else in my same situation
(Os and Language barrier) :D

Thnaks for all the great job u guys did !
