Hi Tony, tried the new kext. No inputs or outputs showing up. Moved back to my previous and everything is back to normal.

Did you recompile the ALC889 kext?

Thx, I tried, but even if I muted the speakers, the interference remains the same.
I thought it may be the board, but when booting windows, everything's fine.

Tested on EX58-UD5

Works as stated. All rear outs work
Rear input works

Front out works
Front in not working.

installed both - HDAEnabler and LegacyHDA to /extra/extensions and /s/l/e

PS. Definitely louder now, and no more clicks and pops. Awesome. Thanks again.

Did anyone test the digital out for the P55M-UD2, otherwise I could try to test it with a friend's receiver.
