Hi all,
I'm 99% away from getting a perfect hackintosh.
I am having a hibernation problem and I have just found the cause but now the question is if there is a solution?
My USB ports were mapped with USBToolBox and I use USBtoolBox.kext & UTBMap.kext
Every time I tried to put the PC into hibernation with Sonoma 14.4, it wakes up immediately.
After several tests and research, I found the cause of waking up immediately, it is:
USB 3.0 Hub - Requires 1x 20-pin USB 3.0 on motherboard and 1x SATA power connector.
When I unplug the SATA power connector from the HUB, hibernation works perfectly.
My question, is it possible to make this HUB work with hibernation?
Small clarification, I tried the USB 3 ports on the front of the original case which do not need SATA power but just 20 pin 3.0 connectivity. It works perfectly with hibernation.
Thanks for your help.
