I wanted to get a HP Probook 4530s for a while now, but I couldn't justify myself buying another computer/toy. Now I think i need a new computer...and I have $200 amazon gift card yearning to be used.
I'm a console gamer (Starcraft/Portal exceptions), don't do any crazy video editing or such so power isnt really a need. I may experiement with some DJ software like Serato, but thats not a deal breaker.
I've been coasting with a netbook for 3 years, was doing development on it when iOS 3 was out, but switched to focus on Android (and Ubuntu), now I want to go back into iOS and my netbook won't install/update anything past 10.6.6 and a newer version is needed for iOS 6 SDK
...So now the reason why I posted this, do I just get the HP or wait for an Ivy Bridge based laptop? or even wait for ivy bridge models so the cost of the HP goes down?
