Laggy system when using network or download transfers

Hi! I'm having issues when i download from internet, or just transfer files over the local network to my NAS.

I tried to replace the network drivers without success.

If i reboot the system it works like a charm, but after a few hours system becomes laggy and unusable. If i stop download transfers or stop copying files through the network it seems to be better.

Does someone know why could this happen? Thanks in advance!

I'm using the ones in the Download section of this forum:

Intel E1000 v3.3.5 and Atheros E2200 v2.2.0. I'm only using Intel E1000 on my system
