KP in 10.8.2 with GT 640 2GB

Ok updated to 10.8.2, now I get KP with GT 640 2Gb. Used GE=No and PCIRootUID=0. Have deleted oembios.kext as well and can boot with my 1GB GT9800. Any suggestions? The GT640 worked fine in 10.8.1.

Ok got it working here is what I did:

removed AppleGraphicsPowerManagement.Kext & AppleTyMECDriver.kext.
Removed both OEMsmbios.kext and NVClockX.kext from FakeSMC.kext/Contents/Plugins

Ran MultiBeast 5.02 and installed 10.8 OpenCl >2GB cards under Graphics drivers for NVIDIA Fermi Cards and chose Mac Pro 5,1 as new system definition

Rebooted with GE=No and PCIRootUID=0 flags

VOILA!

All good!

hello. sorry for getting in touch out of the blue.
wondering if your problem might be the same as mine.... perhaps you can help me in my diagnosis...
i get (seemly) random freezes (often relating to windows expanding or using webpages), which seem to slow the system (quite quickly) down to a total halt. most of the time i am unable to move my mouse, although occasionally i get a few brief moments of movement before it totally hangs.
does that sound at all familiar?
