I have a computer I upgraded to Yosemite. Mouse, audio and two GPUs function as they should. But no keyboard.

I have a Logitech K280 (because I wanted a Mac like keyboard with option to tilt a bit like other regular PC keyboards).

It didn't function in Mavericks either, however when I check the System info, under USB the keyboard shows up. It even recognizes it's a Logitecch keyboard.

I tried a wireless keyboard (with usb receiver) which worked previously in Mavericks, but this one doesn't show up in the list of USB devices nor work in Yosemite.

I tried changing a genericusb-something kext but that did no good.

Do you think there's any chance a regular Mac keyboard from Apple would work?

Or should I make a clean install?

Why don't you try any other USB keyboard - they do not cost much - and should work.

Can't stand those fashionable "gaming" keyboards that make a whole lot of noise, are overly expensive and looks like an alien pooped.

I'm very specific in what I'd like in a keyboard, so I'll just go for the Apple keyboard then and see if it works.

Crossing fingers it's not tied to USB3 problems. My motherboard don't have any USB2 ports.
