Keyboard mapping?

I got myself a sweet Cherry MX keyboard and it works great apart from one mayor stumbling block. The Hackintosh does NOT see the left windows key. I tried both keyboard viewer and karabiner who both cant see key presses. At first I thought that the key was toast but when I boot into Mint Linux it will see it just fine.

Anyone any suggestions on how to resolve this?

Tried that, also does not see the left Windows key. Very frustrating as I tend to have my right hand on my mouse and my left hand on cmd, option and ctrl. Having to press the right option key is a mayor nuisance.

Did you solve your problem? I use El Capitan 12.6.6 latest update and from one to the other day my keyboard layout is switched and my windows key is dead. Ukulele doesn't work for me and all reboot keys also dont work.

If you solved the problem without reinstalling the whole system, please tell me how
