Kext/Driver for Old Ralink 2870/Ralink 2820

Been hunting around on this problem but have yet to find a solution. I've ordered the tonymac recommended wifi adapter and it's on its way ... but I thought I'd see if I could get this old Rosewill dongle working:

I tried this BearExtender thingy... it installs but I can't seem to open. Thanks!

Try uinstalling reinstalling with the Bear.
Bear worked for awhile.
There is a new driver at Ralink try that. As always uninstall before installing.
Make sure (go to users prefs) that Itunes helper app does NOT load at boot.
It tries to go to Inet before driver for Rosewill.
It must give false report that interferes with driver for Rosewill.

Thanks for the advice. I've tried what you've recommended... and it's not worked. Oh well - it's a four year old wireless adapter - I'll just wait for this TP-Link card in the buyer's guide to show up (if it ever comes - weather is crazy in the mid US).
