I am continually getting Kernel Panics when ever I do the combo update. I have repaired my permissions and everything and I still get them. Please help!

P.S. Please delete my old thread.

MY build is as follows

Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-H67M-D2-B3
CPU: i5-2400 Sandy Bridge (3.2GHz)
video card: Gigabyte Radeon HD 6850
Hard Drive: Seagate Barracuda ST31000524AS 1TB 7200 RPM 32MB Cache SATA 6.0Gb/s 3.5" Internal Hard Drive -Bare Drive
RAM: G.SKILL Ripjaws Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1333

I believe it's my hard drive that is giving me problems. When I open disc utility, it reads my hard drive as an external hard drive, while it's supposed to be internal.

EDIT: I THINK I have figured out my problem. I wasn't running UpdateHelper before I did the combo update. When I get home later tonight I'll try that out.

K. I installed all the Kexts, but when I reboot. I get a kernel panic

panic(cpu 0 caller 0x2acc8a): 'Version mis-match between Kernel (23) and CPU PM (19)"

and it goes on to list a bunch of other stuff. Any ideas?

Did you run the sandy bridge update helper before you ran the update?

run update helper reboot and then run combo update

Yes. I run the UpdateHelper, restart, then do the ComboUpdater, don't restart, go to Multibeast, selecting EasyBeast and System Utilities. Should I check anything else?

Ok. So I'm in snow leopard 10.6.8 atm. What left is there for me to do?

So I don't think any of my drivers are running or working. How can I make them work?
