Hey Everyone,

So I got this Z68XP-UD4 on the latest BIOS F6, the DSDT database only goes up to F5 so I've been using that, everything seems ok except when I shut down the computer 80% of the time I get a kernel panic where it tells me I need to hold down the power button.. Any remedy for this?? Should I make my own DSDT on this BIOS?? Thank You!

Sorry for the bump, but anyone have any experience with this? Do I live with it or is there a fix? And I'm also wondering the same thing as another poster that asked why our computers run so slow without nullcpu setting enabled??

Thanks
:headbang:

I get this too. Every time I try shutting down I get a kernel panic and have to switch off...

I have 10.6.8 with a H55M-UD2H. I seem to remember having to edit the DSDT to get the 10.6.8 to work - could this be the reason??

Thanks.
