I've been wrestling with this for weeks - I cannot get audio working on Big Sur (11.3.1) booting from Clover (5135). Everything else works fine - USB, video, networking, etc, but there are no audio devices available, and as soon as I add the AppleALC extension to EFI/CLOVER/kexts/Other, I get a kernel panic after launching from the clover menu.
It's not a hardware issue - it worked fine under Yosemite, and I have no issues if I boot into windows.
Drivers (UEFI, 64bit):
ApfsDriverLoader
VBoxHFS
OpenRuntime
Kexts:
AppleALC.kext v1.6.0
AtherosE2200Ethernet.kext v2.2.2
Lilu.kext v1.5.3
VirtualSMC.kext v1.2.3
MB: Gigabyte GA-797X0UD5H
CPU: i5-4690K
Audio: Realtek ALC1150
I'm hoping it's something simple, that there's some config option I've overlooked, and that I'm going to feel stupid when it's pointed out.
Thanks,
